today announced that its 2008 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders will
be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. @ at the Neptune Theatre,
1593 Argyle Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    First Quarter Fiscal 2008 Results Conference Call

    High Liner Foods will host a conference call on Friday, May 9, 2008 at
2:00 p.m. ET (3:00 p.m. AT) to discuss its first quarter fiscal 2008 results.
The Company will report its first quarter financial results on Friday May 9,
2008.
