Philanthropy

What is Philanthropy?  It’s the practice of giving money and time to help make life better for other people.

At High Liner Foods, we believe we have a responsibility to be a positive influence in the communities in which we operate and that corporate philanthropy activities is one of the ways we are fulfilling this responsibility. We also value the long-standing relationships we have forged in the communities where we are physically located and our philanthropic efforts are guided by the following mission:

To be leaders in our commitment to community through our corporate and employee actions.

Our corporate philanthropy  efforts are focused on three pillars:

  1. Our "Hunger Mission" which is to supply 10 million meals over 10 years across North America through both financial contributions and in-kind support, such as food donations;
  2. Volunteerism focused on supporting local causes, including food banks; and
  3. Corporate giving that support the communities in which we operate, but are in support of causes outside of our Hunger Mission.

To submit a donation request to High Liner Foods, we ask that you complete our Corporate Donation Request Form and send it to Corporate.Donations@highlinerfoods.com

Donation requests are reviewed by our Corporate Donations Committee on a monthly basis and donation requests received by the first day of every month will be reviewed in that same month and applicants will be notified by the end of that same month whether or not High Liner Foods is able to support their request.

Please note that in order to evaluate and approve donation requests in a consistent manner, all requests must be submitted for approval regardless of prior year support.

Thank you for considering High Liner Foods as your partner in giving.
